Biography

Born: Halifax, West Yorkshire, remember coloured marbles from Uncle Peter and Auntie Mary.

Grew up: Burnley, Lancashire, played out lots, cut things up, bought poster paints, painted cards for my school friends, entered lots of competitions.

Studied: London, Newcastle, ran with Beverley.

Married Martin. Worked: Norwich, Sheffield. Money, numbers, systems, projects. Blew my cornet and laughed lots with Mary, Ivan and the band.

Blessed with sons Daniel and Jonny, further study in Art at NUA, bought yellow car and orange van.

Exhibited: conceptual work, made out of everything and anything, became a teacher of Art, Textiles, Design Technology, lots of making.
